One of the prominent historical attractions of Gilan is Rudkhan Castle.

Rudkhan Castle is known as one of the most significant historical fortresses in Iran.

Rudkhan Castle lies in the heart of jungles in a village of the same name in southwestern Fuman County.

The stairs that lead to the castle, which is the largest brick castle in Iran, has some 1,000 steps.
